The appearance of new methods in the logistic world is becoming closer. A few days ago, it announced the approval of the Amazon dron patent called The Guardian that was requested in November 2015, a project in which they have been working in recent years and that will revolutionize the sector.
The drones are designed to deliver packages of up to 2.3 kilograms, which currently represent 86% of the packages managed by Amazon. They operate by electric motors and have a range of 16 kilometers around the distribution warehouse, which gives access to a good part of the population in urban areas.
