Asia freight rates drop again in January
Container freight shipped from the port of Shanghai (China) by sea to the rest of the world has dropped again
According to the Shanghai Containerized Freight Index, freight rates have again decreased in the month of January. This index reflects the exchange between the main ports of the world with the main Chinese port, and suffered a 1.8% fall in the freight value.
Specifically on the routes to the north of Europe has fallen 1.05%, to 965 € and the ports of the Mediterranean have fallen 1.82% to the value of 914 €.
